From a trauma informed perspective, behaviour is a reflection of needs being met, or not met.

A compassionate classroom approach builds respect and understanding, and nurtures tamariki and their emotional understanding of themselves and others.

Mindfulness training for ākonga and kaiako, based in relational neuroscience and resonant language skills, along with learning how to use conversations for connection can help everyone thrive in the classroom and kura.
